Oct 21, 2009 (newstodate): Lufthansa is adjusting its services to Kazakhstan from October 25, 2009.
The airline will add one flight to a total of three weekly frequencies on the route from Frankfurt to Almaty via Astana, while the direct service from Frankfurt to Almaty will instead be reduced by one weekly flight to four rotations.
Almaty is Kazakhstan's business center and provides by far the largest airline customer base, while Astana, as the country's capital, is the seat of all governmental and state institutions.
