Oct 28, 2009 (newstodate): The Lithuanian MRO provider FL Technics has landed contracts with Air Italy and Air Slovakia for Boeing 737-300 aircraft base maintenance.
The first aircraft of Air Italy and Air Slovakia have already arrived for C-Check scheduled maintenance in FL Technics hangars at Vilnius International Airport.
The contract with Air Slovakia covers two C-Checks inspections this year and two more for the beginning of 2010, while other aircraft from Air Italy are also expected in 2010.
FL Technics is currently servicing Boeing 737 CL, Boeing 757 200, SAAB 2000 and SAAB 340 type aircraft.
As of January 2010 FL Technics will commence maintenance services for Boeing NG family, and start preparations for maintenance work on Airbus 320, ATR 42-300/500 and ATR 72-300/500.
FL Technics it part of the Lithuania's Avia Solutions Group that also comprises Avia Asset Management, Baltic Ground Services, BPC Travel, flyLAL Charters, Baltic Aviation Academy, and Passenger Terminal.
