Oct 28, 2009 (newstodate): After a most difficult year, Lithuania's Vilnius Airport is seeing a gradual return of carriers and traffic from this winter's schedules.
New operators at Vilnius Airport include the Swedish Skyways, the Belgian carrier Brussels Airlines, Ukraine's Donbassaero Airlines, the Russian carriers UTair and Yamal Airlines, and the new Lithuanian charter and scheduled Star1 Airlines.
Legacy carriers serving the airport now include Aer Lingus, Austrian Airlines, Czech Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, airBaltic, Estonian Air, Finnair and Norwegian Air Shuttle.
