Oct 16, 2009 (newstodate): Polish carrier LOT has decided to return to the Russian Baltic enclave Kaliningrad after a pause.
Effective from November4 16, 2009, LOT will operate a daily flight from Warsas to Kaliningrad, using ATR42/72 on the route.
In September 2008 LOT suspended services since 2002 because of unsatisfactory loads on the route. But the general development around Kaliningrad after the demise of KD Avia has prompted the carrier to come back again.
