Oct 06, 2009 (newstodate): Iceland's low-cost carrier Iceland Express has now officially set June 1, 2010 as the launch date of its trans-Atlantic services.
The carrier will operate four weekly flights between Reykjavik's Keflavik Airport and New York's Newark Airport, operated with Boeing 757-200 aircraft from Astraeus.
Icelandair Express will offer connecting flights from Copenhagen, Billund, Oslo, Stockholm, London, Luxembourg and Berlin and other airports in the carrier's route network.
