Oct 09, 2009 (newstodate): Ericsson is consolidating its distribution activities by establishing a new bub at Boraas, Sweden.
Work on the new facilities is already proceeding, and will be completed in phases between Q1 and summer 2010.
The consolidation of the Ericsson distribution activities at Boraas and closure of current distribution activities at other Swedish localities including Gavle will strengthen the role of Gothenburg Landvetter Airport, the nearest large international airport, and shift focus away from Stockholm Arlanda, Orebro Airport and other airports that have so far thrived on scheduled cargo and charter operations driven by Ericsson exports.
