Oct 06, 2009 (newstodate): SAS Cargo's handling subsidiary Spirit Air Cargo Handling has seen some top-level executive changes.
Klaus Glendorf, SAS Cargo VP Cargo Global Handling since the formation of the unit in June, 2004, will leave his position by October after mutual agreement.
No details of his replacement has yet been announced.
Klaus Glendorf, earlier managing director for handling companies Copenhagen Air Services and Novia at Copenhagen Airport, replaced Anders Skantz, who had till then been responsible for SAS Cargo's global handling activities.
Instead Anders Skantz took over responsibility for the management of SAS Cargo's cargo terminals in Sweden, branded as SAS Spirit Air Cargo Sweden.
Effective from October 1, 2009, Anders Skantz has left the company, and has now started a new life as pensioner.
Succeeding mr Skantz is Bjorn Kardell, Spirit Sweden cargo manager, who has actually shouldered most of the responsibility for a few years already as Mr Skantz has been primarily engaged in the supervision of the construction of Spirit Air Cargo Handling's new terminals in Gothenburg and Stockholm.
To round off the picture, Spirit Cargo Handling Denmark is headed by Carsten Johansson, and in Norway by Arne Kristiansen.
