Oct 22, 209 (newstodate): Details of the coming re-integration of Aeroflot-Cargo are now emerging. And the company's life as a subsidiary of the mother airline is nearing an end.
It has now been confirmed that the subsidiary is to be closed down "very soon" and Aeroflot's cargo business re-integrated into the airline.
Head of the new cargo department at Aeroflot will be Oleg Konstantinovich Korolev who has served as general manager of the subsidiary since December 26, 2008, when he replaced the first general manager of the subsidiary, Andrey Alekseievich Goryashko, who left Aeroflot Cargo "voluntarily", as stated in a press release.
Mr Korolev joined Aeroflot in 1994, and last served as Aeroflot regional cargo representative in Europe before his latest appointment.
No date for the formal re-integration is yet available, but the company's press service has been laid down and further communications with Aeroflot-Cargo abrogated.
