Jan 20, 2009 (newstodate): From January, 2009, UPS has launched domestic express pickup and delivery services inside 16 additional countries across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.
Among these new markets are the Czech Republic, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Romania, Serbia, and Ukraine.
Shippers in these countries now will be able to consolidate all of their package delivery services with one carrier, effectively eliminating multiple shipping processes while potentially saving money.
Moreover, by using UPS for domestic as well as international shipping, customers in these new markets will be able to use the same technology platform for tracking, visibility and billing.
With the addition of these 16 markets, UPS is providing domestic express services inside more than 45 countries.
