Jan 20, 2009 (newstodate): United Airlines makes a second attempt to launch flights on its long-awaited new route between Washington, USA, and Moscow, Russia.
Plans are now to start operations from the end of March, 2009, initially offering two weekly rotations with Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.
On May 7, 2008, United announced the new route to be inaugurated on October 26, 2008, but later, on July 4, 2008, postponed the launch due to the sky-rocketing fuel prices.
Star Alliance-member United Airlines will operate into Moscow Domodedovo Airport.
