Jan 30, 2009 (newstodate): Turkish Airlines plans to increase its services to Scandinavia.
Effective from April 13, 2009, the carrier will launch three weekly flights from Istanbul to Gothenburg, Sweden, using Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
This will introduce the first scheduled service between the two destinations.
Turkish Airlines will also increase its ervices to Helsinki, Finland, to daily services.
The carrier also already operates from Istanbul to Copenhagen, Denmark, Oslo, Norway, and Stockholm Arlanda, Sweden.
