Jan 30, 2009 (newstodate): SAS is seeing success with its new Indian operations, and plans to add a new destination and up frequency on its Delhi-flights.
SAS currently operates three weekly rotations on its Copenhagen-Delhi route, and plans to increase frequency from the coming summer schedule 2009.
SAS is also to open flights from Copenhagen to Mumbai from summer 2009, sources say.
Also in the agenda is a code-share agreement currently being negotiated with Air India to offer SAS passengers onward flights via Delhi to Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai.
SAS launched its Delhi-flights on October 28, 2008, after a prolonged seven-year suspension.
