During January-December, 2008, the carrier, based at Yekaterinburg, handled a total of 5,815 tonnes of cargo, up four percent, y-o-y, and 674 tonnes of mail, an increase by 11 percent.
In December, 2008, Ural Airlines handled 599 tonns of airfreight, up two percent, y-o-y.
During 2008 Ural Airlines received four new Airbus A320 aircraft, enabling the carrier to open new routes and add frequencies.
