Jan 26, 2009 (newstodate): New Slovakian airline Danube Wings, based at Bratislava, is taking steps to introduce scheduled flights.
With two ATR-72 in its fleet, the carrier will offer flights from Bratislava to Kosice and Poprad-Tatry in Slovakia, Bologna in Italy and Basel in Switzerland.
Danube Wings, the brand name of the scheduled and non-scheduled flights operated by VIP Wings that holds the AOC and owns the aircraft, will also introduce flights from Bratislava to Dubrovnik and Split from this summer's schedule.
