Jan 14, 2009 (newstodate): Hungarian LCC WIZZ Air has announced its decision to make Prague, the Czech Republic, its next hub.
Effective from February 19, 2009, WIZZ Air will introduce six new routes to be operated from Prague Ruzyne Airport.
The new flights from Prague will go to London Luton, Rome, Milan Bergamo, Brussels Charleroi, Paris Beauvais and Eindhoven.
WIZZ Air now operates to 50 European airports from 10 hubs including Sofia Airport, Bulgaria, Budapest Ferihegy International Airport, Hungary, Gdansk Lech Wal�sa Airport, Katowice International Airport, Poznan-Lawica Airport and Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport in Poland, Bucharest Baneasa Airport and Cluj-Napoca International Airport, in Romania, and Boryspil International Airport, in Ukraine.
In the plans is also the opening of a new hub at Timisoara Traian Vuia Airport, in Romania, in March 2009.
