The airport handled a total of 3,550 tonnes of cargo, imports and exports included.
The Chinese company LinkGlobal Logistics took over the airport on July 1, 2007, with intentions to turn the airport into a hub for Chinese freighter traffic.
So far, the airport has succeeded in generating some Chinese freighter traffic from Urumqi, Xinjiang, and Zhengzou, driven by LinkGlobal Logistics.
