Sep 24, 2008 (newstodate): Work will start this year on construction of a new passenger terminal at Ukraine's Kiev Boryspil International Airport.
The project builds on a loan agreement landed in 2005 with the Japan Bank for International Cooperation.
The new terminal, with a capacity to process 1,000 passengers per hour, is planned to be completed by late 2010 or early 2011.
The full project also comprises the manufacturing, delivery, construction, installation, testing, commissioning, completion and maintenance of a wide range of facilities, including all civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical works including airfield and runway lighting.
