Sep 25, 2008 (newstodate): Sharjah's low-cost airline Air Arabia has ambitious plans for new traffic into Europe.
From October 15, 2008 the carrier will start operations on a new route between Sharjah and Kiev, Ukraine, and the carrier is reportedly mulling plans for stationing five Airbus A320 aricraft at Kiev in order to launch new flights within Ukraine and between Ukraine and other European destinations.
Air Arabia is already offering flights from Sharjah to Istanbul, Turkey, and to Yerevan, Armenia, but retreated from an earlier route to Moscow.
