Sep 22, 2008 (newstodate): With effect from October 15, 2008, the first low cost carrier in the Middle East and North Africa, Air Arabia plans to launch flights on a new route to Kiev, Ukraine.
The Sharjah-based airline will operate three weekly flights between Sharjah and Kiev, using Airbus A320 aircraft on the route.
Since its first flight in October, 2003, the carrier has been building an extensive network including routes to Almaty and Astana, Kazakhstan, Kabul, Afghanistan, and Yerevan, Armenia, alongside routes to destinations in the region.
