Sep 19, 2008 (newstodate): With effect from October 26, 2008, Hungary's Budapest Airport will land a fresh air route to Switzerland.
SWISS will operate three weekly flights on the new route between Geneva and Budapest, using Airbus A319 aircraft on the flights.
Swiss will thus boost competition on the route between Budapest and Geneva where Malev and easyJet are already operating.
Other routes to Switzerland from Budapest include SWISS flights to Basel as well as flights to Zurich, offered by both SWISS and Malev.
