Sep 18, 2008 (newstodate): Effective from September 12, Asiana has added a second frequency to its freighter flights through Sweden's Gothenburg Landvetter Airport.
The Asiana Boeing 747-400F freighter operates at Gothenburg on the return trip to Incheon, Korea, as part of the rotation from Incheon to Frankfurt via Moscow Domodedovo Airport, lifting Far Eastern exports from the Swedish market to Korea and beyond.
Other freighter routes at Gothenburg Landvetter Airport include Emirates/SAS Cargo services Hong Kong-Dubai-Gothenburg-Dubai-Hongkong with three weekly Boeing 747-400F flights, and Japan Air Lines/Lufthansa Cargo services from Frankfurt via Gothenburg to Osaka, with a technical stop at Astana, Kazakhstan, operated three times weekly with MD-11F aircraft.
TNT and DHL also operate freighter flights at Gothenburg Landvetter Airport, totalling some 35 movements per week.
