Sep 4, 2008 (newstodate): SAS Cargo has named InterGlobe as its cargo GSA in the Indian market.
With offices at 12 major airport in India, InterGlobe, the country's largest airline management company and GSA, will provide sales and marketing of belly capacity on SAS aircraft as the airline launches flights on the route between Copenhagen and Delhi from October 28, 2008.
SAS plans to operate three weekly rotations on the route, using Airbus A340/A330, offering about 16 tonnes of cargo payload in each direction.
The re-launch of flights between Copenhagen and Delhi marks SAS' re-entry on the route that was first operated in 2001 but closed down after only six months of service due to the downturn in the industry in the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
