Sep 19, 2008 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Ural Airlines, based at Ekaterinburg, is seeing its cargo volumes up in 2008, thanks to an increase in domestic cargo.
During the first eight months of this year, the carrier handled a total of 3,858 tonnes of cargo and mail, up five percent, y-o-y.
Domestic cargo increased by six percent to 3,443 tonnes, but international cargo dropped seven percent to 410 tonnes.
