Sep 12, 2008 (newstodate): Russia may see the launch of its second low-cost carrier by early 2009, set up by the A1 Group.
The project has been on the agenda of the Russian investment company since 2006, and a launch date will be published soon, sources say.
Plans are to set up low-cost flights with Airbus A320 aircraft from Moscow Domodedovo Airport, to compete with Russia's first LCC that operates from Moscow Vnukovo Airport since January 29, 2007.
