Sep 25, 2008 (newstodate): Exercising its rights as an EU carrier, Romania's low-cost airline Blue Air plans to launch flights between Brussels, Belgium, and London Stansted.
Since 2005 the carrier has operated five weekly flights on the route from Bucharest to Brussels, and this will now be extended with two weekly flights between Brussels and London from October 26, 2008, increasing to three weekly operations from December 11, 2008.
Based at Bucharest Baneasa Airport, Blue Air operates a fleet of seven Boeing 737 aircraft.
