Sep 10, 2008 (newstodate): Effective from October 22, 2008, Norway will get a new direct air connection with Poland.
A new route from Molde Airport will offer direct flights to Gdansk and Warsaw, operated by Centralwings, a LOT subsidiary using Boeing 737 aircraft.
Based on industrial contracts, the new service will primarily target the large contingents of Polish workers in Norway, but services will also be available to the travelling public.
October 15, 2008, will see the completion of construction works on the aiport's runway that has been extended from 1,600 to 2,000 m.
