Effective from December 18, 2008, the carrier will offer three weekly flihgts between Cluj and Paris Beauvais Airport, using Airbus A320 aircraft.
Hungarian-owned WIZZ Air opened its 8th operational base in Cluj Napoca Airport, Romania, from May, 2008 with flights to Valencia and Milan Bergamo from 15 May, in addition to flights to Dortmund, Germnany, and Bucharest, Romania.
The airport, the country's fourth-largest by passenger volumes, this year opened its new 4,000 sq m passenger arrival terminal, bringing its annual capacity to two mio passengers.
TNT and TAROM Cargo also operate cargo facilities at the Cluj-Napoca airport.
