Sep 18, 2008 (newstodate): Montenegro Airlines has placed a firm order for the acquisition of one Embraer 195 aircraft, with options for a further two units.
The carrier will introduce the new aircraft on routes to key European markets, including flights to London and Moscow as well as to destinations in Scandinavia.
In June, 2007, Embraer delivered the first Embraer 195 to Montenegro Airlines through a GECAS leasing contract also comprising delivery of a second aircraft in 2009, by which time the airline will operate three aircraft of this type.
