Sep 9, 2008 (newstodate): The Libyan carrier Afriqiyah Airways has received its first factory-new Airbus A319 aircraft.
The carrier will receive a total of three A319 aircraft as part of an order signed in 2006, which also includes delivery of 11 A320 and three A330-200 aircraft.
In 2007, Afriqiyah also signed a firm contract for six A350XWB aircraft to expand its growing international long-haul network.
In the flet now is already two Airbus A320 aircraft.
