Sep 8, 2008 (newstodate): IATA's e-freight project will soon be expanded to comprise the three Baltic markets.
The customs authorities are currently waiting for new EU customs regulations to be implemented by 2009, and this will trigger the launch of e-freight projects in the Baltic region during the year.
As part of the preparations, a delegation from Estonaia's Customs Authorities will visit Denmark this autumn to study the process for implementing e-freight.
