Sep 18, 2008 (newstodate): DHL has changed its flight operations pattern in Finland.
Effective from September 15, DHL has launched daily Boeing 737 flights between Turku/Finland and Leipzig, DHL's European Air hub, offering faster transport services for customers in Western and Central Finland.
The daily flight between Helsinki and Leipzig continues to serve customers in Southern, Eastern and Northern Finland.
After the introduction of the new Turku flight, the DHL Express flight set up in April, 2003 and operated by West Air Sweden, between Vaasa and Arlanda will be discontinued.
DHL Express has two air express gateway terminals in Finland Helsinki and Turku and domestic terminals in Oulu, Tampere and Vaasa
