Sep 16, 2008 (newstodate): On September 30, 2008, Czech carrier CSA will receive its 12th and final Airbus A320 family aircraft of the batch ordered in 2004.
The carrier has, however, announced that it will lease one more A319 in 2009 and yet another in 2010.
Exercising its favorable options rights, CSA has furthermore placed orders for eight new A319 aircraft, to be delivered between 2011 and 2012.
In 2005, CSA also leased two Airbus A320, as well as two Airbus A321 aircraft for charter operations.
After delivery of the latest Airbus A319, CSA's medium-haul fleet will comprise 16 new-generation aircraft from the Airbus A320 family and 20 classic-generation Boeing 737 aircraft.
