Sep 26, 2008 (newstodate): From 2011 conditions for separating the air traffic flows through the Moscow Control Zone will improve significantly.
Before the end of this year, construction work on a new joint Moscow automated air traffic control centre will start at Moscow Vnukovo Airport.
The annual combined passenger volume at Moscow's airports is now about 20 million, estimated to increase to 23 million over five years, driving the demand for better separation of air traffic flows by the airports and traffic on routes between Europe and the Far East via the Moscow Control Zone.
