Sep 25, 2008 (newstodate): Moscow Domodedovo International Airport expects to see its passenger volumes in 2008 up by 12.3 percent, y-o-y, to a total of 21.066.424 passengers.
This latest estimates take into account that the AiRUnion volumes have now been eliminated after the transfer to Moscow Vnukovo Airport and the general down-fall of the airline alliance.
Estimated growth has therefore been reduced to 1.5, 1.6, 3.7 and 4.0 percent for the last four months, respective, of this year, after running in two-digits figures during the first half of the year.
Consequently, the airport also expects more moderate growth in passengers volumes in 2009, estimated to increase by 4.8 percent, y-o-y, in 2009, ending up with a total 22.087.300 passengers.
