Aug 5, 2008 (newstodate): After introducing its first Boeing 737-300SF freighter in early July, Ukraine International Airlines will further intensify its focus on air cargo.
The carrier expects to add a second Boeing 737-300SF aircraft in 2009, and is keen to develop Ukraines strategic position as a cargo hub between European and Eastern destinations.
Seeing a strong demand for cargo charters for destinations in Europe, Middle East and CIS countries, UIA Cargo will also offer charter cargo services, and the company is currently in negotiations with prospective clients for charter freight operations.
