The tenders comprised Skopje Alexander the Great Airport, Ohrid St Apostle Paul Airport, and the construction of a new cargo terminal at Shtip Airport.
Among other partipants in the first phase were Austria's Vienna International Airport, Germany's Hochtief, and EGIS - Koupthing Singer & Friedlander from France/ Great Britain.
The airport system of Macedonia is a subject to concession for a period of 20 years.
