During the first seven months of this year, the airport handled a total of 767 tonnes of cargo, up 6.6 percent, y-o-y.
In July, 2008, Salekhard Airport handled 101 tonnes of cargo, up 3.9 percent y-o-y.
With a 2,178 m runway, Salekhard Airport with scheduled fligths for Novosibirsk, Novy Urgeng, Omsk, Tyumen and Yekaterinburg, is an alternate airport for flights on cross-polar routes.
