Aug 12, 2008 (newstodate): Russian privately-owned airline Transaero has received its first of four Boeing 777-200 aircraft.
The airline p�lans to introduce the new aircraft on flights between Moscow and Israel, and on flights to destinations in south-east Asia and the Caribbean.
All four ex-Varig aircraft are planned for delivery before the end of this year.
Transaero is the first Russian operator of the Boeing 777, as was also the case with the Boeing 747, introduced from July 2005.
