Aug 28, 2008 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Atlant-Soyuz, owned by the Moscow city government, is mulling plans for future developments at Latvia's Liepaja Airport.
On August 26, 2008, the carrier launched flights between Moscow Vnukovo Airport and Liepaja, now offering three weekly flights with Embraer 120 aircraft.
But Atlant-Zoyuz is considering potentials for adding flights in the future from Liepaja to destinationa including Helsinki, Stockholm, Berlin, Prague, Warsaw, Kiev and St Petersburg, and may also operate flights from Liepaja to Copenhagen and Hamburg.
