Aug 26, 2008 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Atlant-Soyuz, owned by Moscow's government, has secured the financing of new Western aircraft acquisitions.
The carrier will take delivery of three new Boeing 737-800 arcraft before the end of 2008, and a further two aircraft by March, 2009.
Atlant-Soyuz, based at Moscow Vnukovo Airport, now operates a fleet comprising three Tu-154M, eight Il-86, two Boeing 737-300, two Embraer 120, and four Il-76TD
