Aug 15, 2008 (newstodate): The Kaliningrad-based Russian airline, KD Avia has now received its 17th Boeing 737-300 aircraft.
KD Avia plans to receive its 18th Boeing 737-300 aircraft by the end of 2008, to be followed by the delivery of No 19 at the beginning 2009.
In May, 2008, the carrier placed an order with Airbus for delivery of 25 Airbus A320 aircraft as part of its plans to expand the fleet up to 60 aircraft by 2016, 50 of which will be Airbus 320 family aircraft.
