Aug 8, 2008 (newstodate): Norway's Oslo Gardermoen Airport saw a general downward trend in its cargo and mail volumes in the first six months of 2008.
During the H1, the airport handled a total of 33,875 tonnes of cargo, down one percent, y-o-y.
In the same period, the airport handled 14,331 tonnes of mail, down four percent, y-o-y.
International cargo imports fell one percent to 14,243 tonnes, while international cargo exports increased one percent to 15,131 tonnes.
The only month breaking this year's negative pattern was April where international imports grew 13 percent, while international exports were up 28 percent.
