Aug 27, 2008 (newstodate): Macedonia is determined to increase the cargo handling capabilities of its airports.
A new cargo terminal will be built at Skopje's Alexander the Great Airport, the existing cargo facilitites at Ohrid St Paul the Apostle Airport will be upgraded, and finally an entirely new cargo infrastucture will be constructed at Stip.
All projects are included in the tender for 20-year concessions at Macedonian airports, won by Turkey's TAV Havalimanlari Holding.
