Aug 25, 2008 (newstodate): Effective from September 2, 2008, Finnair will introduce scheduled passenger flights from Helsinki to Yekaterinburg, Russia.
In cooperation with Ural Airlines, the carrier will serve Yekaterinburg, in the Sverdlovsk region, with three weekly flights, using A319 aircraft on the route.
Yekaterinburg becomes Finnair's third scheduled destination in Russia, after Moscow and St Petersburg.
