Aug 29, 2008 (newstodate): Copenhagen Airport has turned its thumbs down for a plan to develop a new low-cost terminal at the airport.
Behind the plan is a group of private investors that have suggested the localisation of a future terminal to handle low-cost flights in the airport's northeastern area.
But the airport now says the plan would interfere with the handling of freighter aircraft in the same area, and claims that some of its key cargo airline customers have threatened to reconsider their operations at Copenhagen Airport if a passenger terminal was built as proposed.
