Aug 13, 2008 (newstodate): In 2007, Iceland's Keflavik Airport saw its cargo volumes unchanged against the preceding year.
A total of 61,500 tonnes of cargo was handled at the airport, same as 2007.
Passenger volumes were up by eight percent to 2,182,232 in 2007, and total air traffic was up by 4.2 percent, y-o-y, while the number of military stop-over flights decreased by 36 percent due to the closing of the co-located U.S. Naval Air Station in 2006.
