Jul 2, 2008 (newstodate): From July 11, 2008, the Azerbaijani carrier Turan Air plans to launch new flights to Turkey.
The carrier will operate two weekly flights from Baku to Kars, in Turkey's northeastern Kars province, using TU-154 aircraft.
The carries has a fleet of four TU-154M and one Being 727-200 aircraft in its fleet, used on a network comprising flights from Gyanja, Azerbaijan, to Moscow Domodedovo Airport and from Baku to Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport as well as to Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk in Russia.
