Jun 3, 2008 (newstodate): Belgian handling company Aviapartner is reportedly negotiating with SAS Cargo over acquisition of the company's handling subsidiary Spirit.
The Belgian news media Lloyds quotes "Scandinavian rumours" about the alleged talks, referring also to an earlier statement by Aviapartner's new ceo Peter Oosterenk who told the Belgian trade press that new acquisitions are to be finalised this year already, with the Scandinavian market in the target zone.
In Scandinavia both SAS Cargo's handling company Spirit and the Danish Cargo Center Billund are in the market for sale or partnership.
