Jun 25, 2008 (newstodate): In May, 2008, the Russian carrier S7 Sibir Airlines boosted its cargo and mail volumes by no less than 57.1 percent.
In total, the carrier generated 3,861 tonnes of cargo and mail, including 361 tonnes of international freight, rising 52.3 percent, and 3,719 tonnes of domestic freight, increasing 35.8 percent.
In 2008 the carrier launched new international routes from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Chisinau, Moldova, Dublin, Ireland, and Kutaisi and Batumi, Georgia, and resumed flights to Tblisi, Georgia, suspended since October, 2006.
