Jun 10, 2008 (newstodate): Russian carrier Aeroflot has confirmed plans to lease an additional batch of 19 Airbus A320 Family aircraft.
The carrier will reportedly operate up to 65 Airbus aircraft in the future, enabling it to services on its domestic route network.
The carrier currently operates a total of 36 Airbus A320 Family aircraft, 10 Airbus A330-200 aircraft will be delivered before the end of this year, and by 2014 the carrier will receive the first of 22 Airbus A350 XWB aircraft ordered.
